LEONID METEORS!



THESEMeteors photographed from Auburn California on November 18th between 2 a.m. and 4 a. m.
these meteors lasted only a second to the naked eye and looked only like a bright white blip. But as you can see they have color!
All you can do is aim the camera in a direction and lock the shutter open for 30- 40 seconds and see what you get.










I am very happy with the results of my first attempt at capturing meteors on film.














In this last photo you can actually see the smoke created from the meteor burning up in our atmosphere. That's what the pink halo is.
